Web3, still in its early stages, is witnessing rapid technological innovation worldwide. Cryptocurrency wallets are now capable of storing not only financial assets but also various certificates such as employment history, academic credentials, licenses, and qualifications. Wallets have been transforming from tools that only manage assets to Distributed IDs (DIDs), which validate one’s identity digitally. While traditional IDs like phone numbers, email addresses, and SNS accounts have built-in means of direct contact, wallet addresses as DIDs currently lack a method of direct contact. DMTP was established to solve this problem in Web3, that there is no way to contact via wallet address. This partnership will collaborate with NTT Digital to realize a high-quality user experience in the wallet.
